Steak Diane will taste like you have been cooking all day but it is so easy to make and will leave your guest’s mouth watering for more.  This would be good on any beef steak, bison steak, venison or elk steaks.  You can even put it on burgers to elevate them.  Yummy!

INGREDIENTS

4 beef  NY strip steaks (1/2 inch thick and 8 ounces each)

1/4 tsp pepper

1/8 tsp salt

4 Tbs butter (grass fed), divided

1 green onion, finely chopped

1/2 tsp ground mustard

1 Tbs lemon juice

1-1/2 tsp GF Worcestershire sauce

1 Tbs minced fresh parsley

1 Tbs minced chives

DIRECTIONS

Sprinkle steaks with pepper and salt. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons butter over medium heat. Add green onion and mustard; cook 1 minute. Add steaks; cook 2-5 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium 145°; well-done 160°).

Remove steaks to a serving platter and keep warm. In same skillet, add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and remaining butter; cook and stir 2 minutes or until thickened. Add parsley and chives. Serve with steaks.
