These crackers are so easy and so delicious. You can use them for breakfast topped with a little avocado, eggs, or smoked salmon. This is the best cracker recipe that is GF that I have tried. It is simple and delicious. If you are entertaining make two batches they will go quick. Try them with the Chia Seed Jam recipe I have posted. So yummy!!!
INGREDIENTS
1 Tbs arrowroot powder
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 cup flax seed
3 Tbs white sesame seeds
3 Tbs black sesame seeds
3 Tbs hulled pepitas
1 cup boiling water
Flaky sea salt
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 320 degrees. Makes 1- 8 X 11 inch cracker
In a medium bowl, mix together all the ingredients except flaky sea salt. Place a large sheet of parchment paper onto your work surface and spoon or scrape the seed mixture onto the paper. Top with another piece of parchment paper and roll the mixture using a rolling pin into an 1/4 inch thick sheet that is 8 x 11 inches.
Transfer the onto a baking sheet and carefully remove the top sheet. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and bake for 45 minutes. Let it cool and then break into large pieces. Store in an airtight container for a week.
